Spring Break!

Just a friendly reminder for all teachers and staff throughout the district as we head in to an extended break… Please take a moment and check to make sure you have shut down, turned off or unplugged any plug loads in your area, office or classroom. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Computer monitors and speakers
  • Smart-boards and overhead projectors
  • Clock radios and boom boxes
  • Copiers and printers
  • TVs, DVD players and VCRs
  • Audio and video recording equipment
  • Appliances in FACS rooms & staff lounges
  • Electronics in Science labs,  Art rooms & AV labs
  • Electronic equipment in Industrial Tech & Auto Shops
  • Camera battery chargers
  • Microphone and two-way radio chargers

Also be sure to close blinds and shades and look around for any opportunity to unplug over break. Thanks for doing your part to keep us operating as efficiently as possible during a time when the buildings are getting a break from the staff and students while you are taking some much deserved time off.

Go Green!

Go Green! Not just today but go green everyday! Being green means being eco-concious, being aware and responsible with your energy use. It means reducing your energy consumption and also recycling, re-using and re-purposing.
Think Green... Go Green... Be Green for our Earth and have a happy, safe and efficient St. Patrick's Day!

Good News!

Results are in from the second half of 2015 and check out this Good News... From July through December, the district reduced its overall energy use by 8.5% resulting in a savings of $94,456.00! This avoided cost savings is based on the established baseline set before the SEE Program began in 2012. It just goes to show you what a difference it can make when most everyone is on board with being mindful of their energy use. Thank You for all you have done and continue to do throughout the Robbinsdale Area School District and at home too!
